Bob Funk, PE, LEED AP
Designation:
Past President/Director of Special ProjectsEmail:
bfunk@funkconstruction.comThe oldest Funk brother, Bob Funk has construction in his blood. Throughout his teenage years, he did work for the family business over the summer. His belief that it was important to see the world, led him to the United States Air Force where he specialized as a computer technician. After the service, construction drew him back, and Bob earned his BS Degree in Structural Engineering. He soon took on the task of designing bridges, sanitary treatment plants and buildings for other engineering and construction firms. Called back to the family business, he returned to become a Project Manager and soon took over the reins as President.
Today he instills in his team a love for the industry, service to the client, and a mission to construct a quality building that will be a testament to the legacy of Arthur Funk and Sons’ mission to build quality structures and long lasting customer relationships.

Designation:
PresidentEmail:
kfunk@funkconstruction.comFor Ken Funk, construction is in his DNA. He likes nothing better than when a customer comes to the firm with a problem and the Funk team works together to solve the problem in a way that is a win-win solution! To him rewards mount as a project meets the customer’s goals and exceeds the customer’s expectations when the doors open and the finished project is put into use.
Ken’s philosophy is that it’s important to give back to his community, and he has been active on many boards and volunteers at many civic and service organizations. Most recently he joined the boards of the Association of Builders and Contractors Keystone Chapter and the North Cornwall Township Planning Commission.
Ken does find time to relax with his family at their lakeside cabin.

dfunk@funkconstruction.comThe middle son, David Funk, has a lifelong story of servant leadership. After graduating from Syracuse University with a BS in Civil Engineering and a brief stint in the business world, Dave volunteered in the Peace Corp where he served in West Africa as a rural development volunteer building roads, bridges and wells. When he returned to the US and the family business, he has contributed locally through his work with Habitat for Humanity and more recently a food bank and homeless shelter. With Dave's support, his wife Laurie opened a coffee shop where high school students have an opportunity to develop work and life skills while engaging with the community. As Project Manager, he serves his clients in the same manner as he serves his community, with passion and focus. Dave enjoys the outdoors and has been a competitive endurance athlete his entire life. This passion began as a long distance runner in high school and university and later transformed into triathlons, mountain biking and long distance canoe events. Dave rides his fixed gear bike every day to work.
